Originally this image was supposed to make its way into Bike Mag before they shut their doors forever. Otherwise this image has never seen the light of day, it is from the vault so to speak.

This photo was shot on assignment for Giant Bicycles with Reece Wallace for "Pleign". While Matthew and I were waiting for a window with the light to get the shot, a massive cloud rolled over the whole mountain shrouding us in a weird white room. This berm, adjacent to a cut block, filtered the light in a very interesting manner. The cloud, with maybe 5 meters visibility in the open and almost complete darkness in the forest, provided this moment for us.
